SANGERVILLE – A Dover-Foxcroft woman was injured Saturday night when she lost control of her vehicle on a curve and struck a tree. Jamie Duarte, 25, was transported to Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft, where she was treated and released after the 8:50 p.m. accident.

SANGERVILLE – A Dover-Foxcroft woman was injured Saturday night when she lost control of her vehicle on a curve and struck a tree.

Jamie Duarte, 25, was transported to Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft, where she was treated and released after the 8:50 p.m. accident.

Duarte was traveling on Flanders Road when the accident occurred, according to Trooper Adam Coover.

He estimated damage to Duarte’s late-model Ford Escort at $1,500.

Sangerville firefighters assisted Coover at the scene.
