MILLBRIDGE – The Down East Resource Conservation and Development Council is working with a group of scientists to develop a guide and map of significant geological features in the Down East area left by the last glacier.
The committee has developed the concept and identified sites to be included. The map will include educational information for the benefit of local people, schools and tourists.
The group is seeking funding for the printing of the map through various grant sources. People who want to contribute can contact the council at 546-2368.
