FORT KENT – The University of Maine at Fort Kent is offering a 16-hour, hands-on Wilderness First Aid course from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 22- 23. Instructors from Wilderness Medical Associates, leaders in the field of wilderness medical training, will provide instruction. Classes will emphasize practical skills.
Wilderness Medical Associates provides a three-year certification in wilderness first aid for those who successfully complete the course. The class also includes a two-year CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
