Jones leads Huskies to win over Bobcats

LEWISTON – Tiffany Jones came off the bench to score a team-high 20 points, lifting the University of Southern Maine to a 69-66 women’s basketball victory over Bates.

Kara Crockett and Meg Cressler each provided 13 points and five rebounds for the Huskies of Gorham, who shot 61 percent from the field.

Carla Flaherty connected for a game-high 26 points to lead the Bobcats. Olivia Zurek posted a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
