ROCKPORT – Region IV of the Mid-Coast Emergency Medical Services Council presented the following awards at its 22nd annual educational seminar Nov. 7-10 at the Samoset Resort.

The awards were presented for extraordinary call, community service and special merit in the delivery of emergency care throughout the state.

Community Service Award: Bangor Fire Department.

EMS Merit for Many Years of Service and Dedication in EMS: Phyllis Hall of Stockton Springs Ambulance Service.

Extraordinary Call for Commitment to Excellence as Telecommunications Operator: Jaeme Ahern of Penobscot Communications Dispatch Center.
