St. Joseph’s cruises past Framingham State

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. Bilal Dawan-Abdullah tossed in 15 points to help the St. Joseph’s College Monks defeat Framingham State 72-57 in men’s basketball action Saturday.

C.J. Vose added 13 points for the winners and Brandon Stewart netted 10.

Tony Washington led Framingham State with 19 points and Ralph Sully chipped in with 10.

At Keene, N.H., Sunday Donna Zwernke scored 19 points to help lead Worcester State past the University of Maine-Fort Kent in the consolation game of the Keene State holiday tournament.

Kathy Ward contributed with 16 points while Celeste Price had eight points and 10 rebounds.

Heidi Fisher led UM-Fort Kent with 10 points and four rebounds while Sara Quint helped out with nine points, three rebounds and two assists.
