FARMINGTON – Steve Ginn, Thad Broughton and Travis Magnusson combined for 39 points and the Beavers outrebounded Thomas 63-40 en route to a 73-61 win over the Terriors.
UM-Farmington outscored Thomas 22-6 from the foul line as Thomas connected on just six of its 20 free throw attempts. UMF went 22-for-31.
Luke Nielsen and Jon Bird combined to grab 23 rebounds for the winners and Magnusson dished out five assists for the Beavers.
James Godley had 14 points for Thomas of Waterville while Jimmy Cardaci and Will Nickerson combined for 18 points.
