Advanced training

ABERDEEN, Md. – Army Pvt. Allen Easley has arrived at Aberdeen Proving Ground to complete the track vehicle repairer advanced individual training course. Easley is the son of Kirk and Debbie Easley of Bangor, and a 2002 graduate of Bangor Christian School.

PETERSBURG, Va. – Army National Guard Pvt. Roxann Hawes has graduated from the food service specialist advanced individual training course at Fort Lee. A 1993 graduate of Bangor High School, Hawes is the daughter of Mildred Carrow of Carmel.

Basic training

PARRIS ISLAND, N.C. – Marine Corps Reserve Pfc. Adam Woodard, son of Rebecca Woodard-Inman of Hermon, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot. He is a 2002 graduate of Hermon High School.

WAYNESVILLE, Mo. – Army National Guard Pvt. Jared Williams has graduated from basic military training at Fort Leonard Wood. He is the son of Stacey Goodwin of Hampden and Robert Williams of Holden.

WAYNESVILLE, Mo. – Army National Guard Pvt. Gerard Falls has graduated from basic military training at Fort Leonard Wood. A student at Old Town High School, he is the son of Barbara and Gary Falls of Old Town.

WAYNESVILLE, Mo. – Army National Guard Pvt. Robert L. Jordan has graduated from basic military training at Fort Leonard Wood. Jordan is the son of Robert Jordan of Stillwater.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Air Force Airman Ean D. Larson has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base. He is the son of Susan and Joel Larson of Hampden and a 2002 graduate of the Hampden Academy.

Reporting for duty

FORT BENNING, Ga. – Army Pfc. Paul Bolstridge graduated basic combat training on Aug. 29. He reported to Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., for a course in truck driving, and graduated Oct. 11.

A 1998 graduate of Madison Area Memorial High School, Bolstridge is the son of Teresa and Mark Maybury of Brewer, and Paul and Connie Bolstridge of Lincoln. After a brief visit home, Bolstridge reported for duty at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.

BAUMHOLDER, Germany – Army Pvt. Gregory Irish has arrived for duty in Baumholder, Germany. He is a military policeman assigned to the 92nd Military Police Company. Irish is the son of Jane Irish of Bangor, and Roy Irish of Calhoun, Ga.

Promotions

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Jeffrey Pomeroy has been promoted to the rank of major in the U.S. Air Force. Pomeroy is a command personnel-technical training analyst assigned to the Headquarters Air Education and Training Command at Randolph Air Force Base. He is the son of David and Mavis Pomeroy of Detroit. His wife, Anne, is the daughter of Jack and Peg Arlaud of Brewer.

Pomeroy is a 1984 Maine Central Institute graduate. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine in 1989.

Pilot training

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Air National Guard 1st Lt. Joline Tardiff has graduated from undergraduate pilot training at Columbus Air Force Base, Miss. She completed 190 flying hours; 62 flight simulator hours; 342 academic hours; 105 office training hours; weather training for flight plans; and the fundamentals of aircraft handling, instrumentation, formation and night flying.
