GORHAM – Katie Frost tossed in 13 points to help lead the Southern Maine Huskies to a 59-55 women’s basketball victory over the University of New England Nor-easters Thursday night.
Meg Cressler added 11 points and nine rebounds for Southern Maine, and Nikki Allen also scored 11.
Missy Stults led U-New England of Biddeford with 21 points and nine rebounds. Amanda Brown chipped in with 13.

CMTC overcame a career-high 47 points by Unity sophomore center Jeremy Kervin of Hodgdon. Kervin also had 12 rebounds and five blocked shots.
Chris Brackett had 23 points for the winners, Rory Dupuis scored 16 and Kevin Beck contributed 11 as did Josh Berard.
Noah Schneider complemented Kervin with 16 points.
