PORTLAND – The Portland Sea Dogs, Class AA affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, have announced their coaching staff for the 2003 season.

Ron Johnson, announced as manager on Nov. 14, will be joined by pitching coach Bob Kipper, hitting coach Mark Budaska, and trainer Bryan Jaquette.

The Red Sox also have reappointed Buddy Bailey to manage the Triple-A Pawtucket Red Sox of the International League. Mike Griffin has been named pitching coach and U.L. Washington, who played 11 seasons in the majors, was named Pawtucket’s hitting coach.
