GUILFORD – Harper Hoffman’s 19 points powered the Piscataquis Community Pirates to a 69-63 schoolboy basketball win over the Penobscot Valley Howlers Saturday.

John Garrett-Young and Josh Luellen scored 12 points apiece for PCHS and Tyler Tracy had 11.

Matt Mulligan scored 19 points for Penobscot Valley of Howland while Dustin Nickolson added 17.
