Congratulations to Bangor High School’s staff, students and volunteers who put their hearts and souls into the creation of the production of “Les Miserables.” Their many hours of dedication were evident in the beautiful range of singing voices, the detailed scenery and the smooth transitions from one scene to another. The costumes, lighting and sound added strength to the telling of the story. The orchestra was very impressive. Their notes moved the characters beautifully through a wide range of emotions, never overpowering the singers.

All actors remained in character as they experienced life in the 1820s, letting the audience feel their hurt, pride and strength in unity. Bangor High is very fortunate to have such talented, caring and artistically dedicated directors such as Carlene Hirsch and George Redman. They took a huge project under their wings and released a performance worthy of the community’s pride and respect. Thank you!
