This President Bush insists, as did his father before him, that whether this country goes to war or not is “up to Saddam Hussein.” But nobody elected Hussein to be president of the United States.

Responsibility for the actions of the United States falls on our doorstep and no one else’s. President Bush, eager to try out his fancy war toys, is trying to pass the buck for whatever destruction this causes by saying Saddam Hussein made him do it.
