CARIBOU – The Vikings scored the first 13 points of the fourth quarter Thursday night and ran away to a 59-44 boys basketball win over Houlton. Josh Nadeau led Caribou with 20 points while Matt Nason had 11 and Griffin St. Peter added 10.

CARIBOU – The Vikings scored the first 13 points of the fourth quarter Thursday night and ran away to a 59-44 boys basketball win over Houlton.

Josh Nadeau led Caribou with 20 points while Matt Nason had 11 and Griffin St. Peter added 10.

Freshman Mark Socoby topped the Shiretowners with 13 and Brett Miles had 11.

At Limestone, Ashley Brooker notched a double-double, racking up 23 points and 10 rebounds, as the Eagles pulled away from the Tigers.

Ten of Brooker’s points came during a game-breaking 24-8 third-quarter spurt. Traci Weatherhead also had a double-double (11 points, 16 rebounds) for Limestone/Maine School of Science and Mathematics.

Danielle Searles popped in 14 points and hauled down 21 rebounds for Fort Fairfield. Whitney Langworthy had 10 points and 11 rebounds.
