NEW LONDON, N.H. – Former George Stevens Academy of Blue Hill star Lora Trenkle scored 15 points and the Bowdoin women’s basketball team outscored Colby-Sawyer 29-17 in the second half to earn a 56-45 win.

Bangor High School graduate Alison Smith tossed in 11 and Justine Pouravelis added 10.

K.J. Krasco had 12 points for Colby-Sawyer and Anne Coulter scored 11 points.

At Bangor, Jason Chasse scored 13 of his 21 points in the first half and Kris Douglas contributed 12 of his 18 as Eastern Maine Technical College built a comfortable 51-28 intermission edge.

Jesse Haskell and Jeremy Howard complemented Chasse and Douglas with 18 and 14 points, respectively.

Jeremy Kervin scored a game-high 30 points for Unity and Sean Edwards chipped in with 12.
