CAPE COD, Mass. – Linebacker Stephen Cooper and defensive end Dennis Dottin-Carter of the University of Maine have been named first-team ECAC selections.

The players helped lead the Black Bears to a quarterfinal berth in the NCAA Division I-AA playoffs while Dottin-Carter led the team in sacks and Cooper totaled the most tackles.

Two players from Colby College in Waterville also gained ECAC Division III honors. Linebacker Mike Moran was named to the first team on defense and tight end Ian MacPherson was a second-team offensive selection.

Moran led Colby in tackles and MacPherson caught 28 passes for 284 yards.
