Four Maine high school racewalkers placed in the top 10 at two meets held in Waltham and Cambridge, Mass., on Saturday.

In the Stormin’ Norman High School Invitational 1-Mile race walk held at Brandeis University, Maine racewalkers took the top four positions. Jamine Brooks of Mt. Blue High School in Farmington finished first with a time of 7 minutes, 40.36 seconds and was followed by Mark Dennet of Winthrop in second (7:44.25) and Carly Lochola of Mt. Blue in third (8:20.75). Audra Curtis of Belfast High School finished in fourth place (8:55.34).

In the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Open, Brooks placed second (7:43.25) while Dennet came in fifth (8:03.54) and Lochola finished seventh (8:37.62). Curtis was 10th (8:51.87).
