Blanchard, Deschene key Wildcats

PRESQUE ISLE – Billi Blanchard went 10-for-12 at the free throw line in the fourth quarter en route to 23 points as the Presque Isle girls basketball team held off Houlton 48-38 Tuesday in schoolgirl action.

Blanchard scored 23 points and six rebounds for Presque Isle. Natasha Deschene netted 10 points and had three steals.

Kasey Cleary scored 10 points and had three steals for Houlton and Katherine Cole had eight points.
