Gagnon sinks key FTs Van Buren tips Fort Fairfield

FORT FAIRFIELD – Matthew Gagnon’s two free throws with 18 seconds left broke a 55-55 tie and put the Van Buren Crusaders in the lead for good en route to a 58-55 schoolboy basketball win over the Fort Fairfield Tigers Tuesday night.

Andrew Martin led the Crusaders with 19 points.

Brandon Levasseur scored 18 points, Sam Esancy added 13, Aaron Kenneson had 12, and Jamie McLaughlin scored 10 points for the Tigers.

Hoffman paced the winners with 22 points while Josh Luellen added 13 and Tyler Tracy put in 12.
