Today we received another big, beautiful bundle of hand-knit hats, mittens and sweaters. The gift came from Dorothy Criscuolo of Brewer. Many children, and their parents, are sure to be so moved, and so warm, this winter.

With less than one week until Christmas, there are many things to make ready for this very special holiday – food to prepare, decorations to arrange, friends and family to greet, and gifts to buy. If you haven’t already done so, would you please consider adding a donation to the Santa’s Helper Fund to your list? Your contribution will be very much appreciated, and will go to the Salvation Army which is working hard to reach as many needy individuals, families and children as they possibly can this month. Thank you.

Donations may be sent to Santa’s Helper Fund, P.O. Box 1329, Bangor 04402-1329. Names and donation amounts will be published in the Santa’s Helper column daily. Donors who wish to remain anonymous will be listed as such, followed by their donation amounts. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
