Kim Corbitt of the University of Maine has been selected as the Wilson America East Conference women’s basketball player of the week. The sophomore guard from Albany, N.Y., set seasons highs for points (14), assists (7) and steals (4) in the Black Bears’ 80-70 victory over Bradley on Sunday.
Abby Schrader
Abby Schrader of the University of Maine women’s basketball team has been named the Wilson America East Conference Rookie of the Week. The freshman from Point Pleasant, N.J., registered 14 points and eight rebounds in the Black Bears’ Sunday win at Bradley. She went 6-for-9 from the floor and blocked two shots.
