BELFAST – A Searsport man was sentenced Monday in Waldo County Superior Court for two counts of trafficking in cocaine.
Edward Mylen III, 23, was sentenced to five years in prison, with all but two years suspended, by Superior Court Justice Joseph Jabar. Once released, Mylen will be on probation for the maximum four-year period.
Mylen was charged with selling 1 gram of cocaine on April 5 and another on April 9. Both sales occurred in Belfast.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant Attorney General Lara Nomani and was investigated by the Waldo County Sheriff’s Department, Maine State Police and the Belfast Police Department.
