AUGUSTA – Central Maine Power Co. will interrupt power to about 2,400 customers in Islesboro, Lincolnville, Northport and Searsmont early Thursday morning, Jan. 2, to perform maintenance at the Lincolnville substation.
The outage is scheduled to begin at 12:01 a.m. and is expected to last no longer than one hour.
The outage is necessary in order to upgrade the power-delivery system in the area, according to CMP Public Affairs Manager David Allen. Customers’ understanding is appreciated, he said.
Power is expected to be back on no later than 1 a.m. Thursday.
