DEXTER – Travis Patterson poured in 32 points, breaking Dexter High’s all-time scoring record and leading the Tigers to an 81-57 victory over Penobscot Valley Thursday in schoolboy basketball action.
Patterson now has 1,227 points.
Brett Towle contributed 12 points for Dexter, and Eric Day added 10.

At Sukee Arena, Greg Taylor scored the game-winner for the Broncos 4 minutes into overtime off a pass from Steve Boutin.
Boutin, who finished with a goal and two assists, circled in from behind the net, hit Taylor in the slot, and he stuffed it in the empty net.
Adam Stanley racked up three goals and an assist for 6-1 Hampden. Kevin Brooks had a goal and two assists, and Lance Ingerson chipped in with a goal and an assist. Four of the Broncs’ goals came on the power play. Rory Woods had 11 saves against 17 shots.
Adam Cullivan led the 4-3 Black Raiders with two goals and three assists. Brent Poulin had two goals, Matt Bickford a goal and two assists, and Justin Brow a goal to round out the scoring for Winslow. Mike Zemrak had 31 saves on 38 shots.
