WINSLOW – Greg Taylor scored the game-winner for the Hampden hockey team four minutes into overtime as the Broncos edged Winslow 7-6 Thursday at Sukee Arena in high school action.

Steve Boutin finished with a goal and two assists, including one on the game-winning goal. Boutin circled in from behind the net, hit Taylor in the slot, and Taylor stuffed it in the empty net.

Adam Stanley racked up three goals and an assist for 6-1 Hampden. Kevin Brooks had a goal and two assists, and Lance Ingerson chipped in with a goal and an assist. Four of the Broncs’ goals came on the power play. Rory Woods had 11 saves on 17 shots.

Adam Cullivan led the 4-3 Black Raiders with two goals and three assists. Brent Poulin had two goals, Matt Bickford a goal and two assists, and Justin Brow a goal to round out the scoring for Winslow. Mike Zemrak had 31 saves on 38 shots.

John Bapst 3, Stearns 1

At Sawyer Arena in Bangor, Kyle Maynard intercepted an outlet pass and knocked in the eventual game-winning goal in the second period to lead the Crusaders past the Minutemen.

Dave Sawyer chipped in with a goal and an assist for 1-5 John Bapst, and Zac Grenier also scored a goal. Dan Leighton stopped 31 of 32 shots.

Tyler Pelkey scored for Stearns of Millinocket off an assist from Nate Franck. Nick Simon made 31 saves on 34 shots.

Camden Hills 46, Rockland 37

At Rockland, Charlotte Croce scored seven of her 12 points in the first half as Camden Hills manufactured a 23-12 halftime lead en route to the win.

Claire Neville had 11 points for the Windjammers.

Annie Pennell had a game-high 18 points for Rockland and she also pulled down 10 rebounds.
