The snow forecast for Maine on Saturday may be a welcome addition for the Sixth Annual Ricky Craven Snowmobile Ride for Charity which is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 25 in Greenville.
Craven, a NASCAR Winston Cup driver from Newburgh, heads up the fund-raiser each year.
This year’s Ride for Charity will benefit the Marrow Foundation, Maine’s Children’s Miracle Network, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Travis Roy Foundation, and Give Kids the World.
Organizers are seeking a minimum donation of $125 and those seeking to participate must be 13 or older in order to operate a snowmobile. All riders must have a credential.
Those seeking to participate in the ride or for more information may call 207-338-0700 or write Ricky Craven Snowmobile Ride For Charity, P.O. Box 2223, Bangor, ME 04402-2223
