Orono – University of Maine senior Naomi Welsh was named to the New England Women’s Intercollegiate Soccer Association’s Senior Bowl Team on Friday.

Welsh holds the UMaine record with 18 career shutouts. In 2002, she had seven shutouts in 16 games. Welsh finished 7-8-1 with a 1.18 goals-against average last year.
