HOULTON – The Mount Desert Island Trojans overcame a five-point halftime deficit to beat the Houlton Shiretowners 55-50 for their seventh victory in high school basketball action Saturday.
Kyle Jones paced the winners with 19 points and Jake King added 13.
Mark Socoby paced Houlton with 25 points.

Ben Henderson and Mitch Hall each had a goal and an assist while Tyler Hutchinson scored with an assist from Chris Bither. Jared Sylvia tallied three assists while while Andy Clark had an assist and Aaron Fitzpatrick stopped 14 of 16 shots.
Derek Smith scored and had an assist for 1-3 Foxcroft while Mitch Sawyer added a goal. Josh Sands recorded an assist while Jon Catell made 21 saves on 28 shots.
