Heather Ernest

Heather Ernest of the Maine women’s basketball team has been selected as the Wilson player of the week. Ernest, a junior forward, averaged 22.7 points and 9.0 rebounds over three games and was named to the LaSalle Invitational All-Tournament Team, scoring a career-high 31 points in a 75-74 comeback win.

Tiffany Jones

Tiffany Jones, a freshman guard at the University of Southern Maine, has been named Little East Conference rookie of the week. Jones averaged 17 points and 8 rebounds per game, scoring 22 points in an opening round win.

Sarah Walsh

Sarah Walsh of Colby College has been selected as the New England Small College Athletic Conference women’s basketball player of the week for the second time this season. Walsh was named to the Salem State Tournament all-tournament team after averaging 18 points, 15 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 3 steals per game in two games.

Jason Levecque

Jason Levecque, a sophomore guard at the University of Southern Maine has been chosen as the Little East Conference player of the week. Levecque averaged 22 points and 5.5 assists per game and made 15 of 15 free throws.

Randy Fletcher

Randy Fletcher of Husson College has been named Webber Energy player of the week. Fletcher averaged 21 points and 9.5 rebounds per game in a 1-1 week.
