Most of the people in Baghdad are good people. I know of a few Jesuit priests who served as teachers in that part of the world a few years ago and would be happy to return, were it not for Saddam Hussein.

One priest, while serving there, was unable to eat some of the food prepared at their residence, as he had stomach ulcers. Some of the women prepared special food that would not agitate the ulcers and actually help heal them. He is still alive and was a chaplain in the Bangor area.

These people once had their own free will, but things have changed in that part of the world, and not for the better.
