Calais makes FTs, holds off Shead

CALAIS – Calais converted 10 of its 12 free-throw attempts in the fourth quarter Wednesday night to hold on for a 59-52 schoolboy basketball victory over Shead of Eastport.

Josh Berube led Calais with 16 points. Nick Reynolds scored 11 and Chris Woodside had 10.

Ben Maloney put in a game-high 20 points for the Tigers. Jason Bones added 13.
