JONESPORT – Jason Bones poured in a game-high 32 points and Ben Maloney scored seven of his 16 in the third quarter as Shead of Eastport outscored Jonesport-Beals 29-19 to erase a five-point halftime deficit and take the lead for good en route to an 86-80 boys basketball win Tuesday night.

Shead avenged a 65-50 loss to the Royals in Eastport Dec. 20.

Jesse Demmons had 12 points for the Tigers and Mike Demolet contributed 10.

Abraham Beal’s 26 points paced Jonesport-Beals. Erik Balchen chipped in with 15, Derrick Beal had 13, and Jeremy Chandler tossed in 10.
