BRUNSWICK – Patrick McGowan poured in 31 points after nailing 6-of-7 3-pointers to carry the Colby College White Mules of Waterville by Bowdoin 95-91 in men’s basketball action Tuesday night.
Kevin Crosman chipped in with 26 points for the winners, Michael Westbrooks added 14 and Matt Forlizzi netted 10. Nick Loukes of Bangor contributed nine points and five assists.
Danny Ginn paced Bowdoin with 26 points and Skowhegan’s Braden Clement added 22. Mark Yakavonis chipped in with 14 points while Michael Harding and Kyle Petrie had 10 each. Petrie also had 10 rebounds and seven assists.

C.J. Vose led St. Joseph’s with 24 points while Justin Underwood had 15, Steve Monteiro 13 and Bilai Dawan-Abdullah tossed in 11.
Jimmy Cardaci topped all scorers with 28 points for Thomas. James Godley and Adam Rich had 12 points apiece.

Alemdar’s three-pointer in the second half triggered a decisive 17-2 run.

Jason Levecque’s 26 points and Mike Francoeur’s 17 points and four assists paced USM.

Kristi Royer paced Bowdoin with 13 points while Courtney Trotta and Lora Trenkle each added 11. Royer, Trotta and Trenkle also had four assists apiece. Erika Nickerson chipped in with 12 points and Justine Pouravelis netted 10.
Bianca Belcher led Colby with 19 points, Sarah Walsh put in 17 and Drea DeAngelo added 13.
