ORONO – Stacey Saucier made a layup with 20 seconds to play in overtime to lift Orono to a 50-48 girls basketball victory over Foxcroft Academy Thursday night.

Saucier finished with 16 points and 20 rebounds. Marie Lint racked up 19 points and 11 rebounds for the Red Riots.

Foxcroft’s Megan Ryder was fouled shooting a 3-pointer with four seconds left, but missed all three free throws. The Ponies regained possession but couldn’t get a shot away.

Leigh Cartwright led Foxcroft with 13 points, while Coral Goggin scored 10. Sandi Haskell grabbed 10 rebounds.
