NEW LONDON, Conn. – Junior Lora Trenkle of Surrey scored 12 points Friday night including the 1,000th of her career as the Bowdoin women’s basketball team rolled past Connecticut College 82-30.
Erika Nickerson topped Bowdoin with 14 points while Kristi Royer had 11 points and 11 rebounds for 13-1 Bowdoin.
The Polar Bears are ranked seventh in the nation in the WBCA Division III women’s poll.
Bryanne Robson had six points for the 2-10 Camels.
Wesleyan 62, Colby 52
At Middletown, Conn., Shaleen Bowman scored 14 points to help lead Wesleyan to the win.
Amy Posocco added 13 points while Nora Bowman and Kamica Lewis scored 10 points apiece.
Wendy Bonner led Colby with 15 points and 10 rebounds while Sarah Walsh added 13.

At Waterville, it was a memorable night for Kanem Johnson as his shot from the lane with 2.7 seconds left gave Wesleyan the win over the White Mules.
The junior forward also scored the 1,000th point of his college career en route to 25 for the game and grabbed nine rebounds. David Myrie chipped in with 14 points and 11 boards.
Kevin Crosman had 20 points and 15 boards for the Mules. Patrick McGowan had 11 points and Michael Westbrooks 10.
