LEICESTER, Mass. – Jed Johnson poured in 36 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to power the Maine Maritime Academy Mariners to an 81-70 men’s college basketball win over Becker Sunday.

Matt Clement added 22 points and 13 rebounds for MMA of Castine. Jon Newland had five assists.

Albert Ortiz led Becker with 14 points.

Del-Monte added a goal with assists from Moxley and Valerie Hall while Lindsay Vine scored with assists from Jennifer Gouley and Bradi Cochrane. Jennifer Mascaro faced 31 shots and made 28 saves for 11-10-3 Niagara.

Jarin Sjogren scored two goals for the Maine effort while Meagan Aarts had a goals and an assist. Naomi Smethurst, Karen Droog and Raffi Wolf recorded assists while Lara Smart made 24 saves on 28 shots for the 6-9-4 Black Bears.
