Haskell’s 32 points powers EMTC to win

BANGOR – Jesse Haskell poured in 32 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead Eastern Maine Technical College to an 80-75 men’s basketball victory over Central Maine Tech Monday night.

Kris Douglas scored 23 points and had 12 rebounds for the Golden Eagles, while Daryl Watson contributed with 18 points and 12 assists.

Dave Brown was the lead scorer for Central Maine Tech of Auburn with 22 points, while Dan Graham and Joshua Berard added 14 apiece, and Chris Brachet had 11.

At Bangor, Lynn Gerard hit all six of her 3-point attempts to lead Central Maine Tech to the easy win over Eastern Maine Tech.

Ashley Swett topped CMTC of Auburn with 19 points, while Gerard had 18, Stacy Campbell 17, Lakeesha Holloman 16, and Kristie Brooker 11.

Ashley Hitchborn had 12 points for EMTC.
