CALAIS – The Calais Recreation Department will hold the Maine State JHS/Elem Cheering Competition at the Bangor Auditorium on March 8.

This statewide competition for junior high school and elementary cheerleading squads will be sponsored by Wal-Mart of Bangor, Calais, and Presque Isle.

The deadline for registration is Feb. 21. For a registration and information packet, send a request to the Maine State Elementary Cheering Championships at the Calais Recreation Department by fax at 454-2757.
