MOUNT DESERT – Kyle Jones scored eight of his 13 points in overtime and hit for six of his team’s 11 3-pointers to lead Mount Desert Island past Orono 66-57 in boys basketball action Tuesday night.

Jake King scored 12 points for the Trojans.

Justin Perron scored 15 points and John Saucier had 12 for the Red Riots, who tied the game with six points in the final 28 seconds on two 3-pointers.

Dylan Huckestein had a goal and an assist for the 5-9 Riots; Anthony Hegstrom made 46 saves and Tom Smyth scored the other goal.

At Bangor, Nick Payson scored three goals and had two assists to help lead the 5-4 Rams to victory.
