Business basics focus of Penquis CAP class

BANGOR – The Penquis Community Action Program Incubator Without Walls Program will offer a small-business course 6-9 p.m. Wednesdays, Feb. 5 and 19, March 5 and 19, April 2, 16 and 30, and May 14, at Penquis CAP, 262 Harlow St.

The Incubator Without Walls Program helps individuals start and expand businesses with five or fewer employees. The course emphasizes management, marketing, financial controls and business planning. Classes are augmented with guest speakers.

The course and training manual are free. Call 973-3612 for a required application. Classes are partially funded by a Small Business Administration grant.
