MACHIAS – Randy Fletcher and Ryan Rivera connected for 19 points each to lead Husson College to an 86-69 men’s basketball victory over the University of Maine-Machias Thursday night.

Nate Cyr tossed in 18 points for the Braves of Bangor, while Phil White added 14.

Gary Dussard paced the Clippers with 18 points, Wayne Clark netted 15, and Phil Munroe chipped in with 12.

At Unity, Sean Edwards racked up 27 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and four steals to lead the Rams to victory.

Noah Schneider and Jeremy Kervin had 20 points apiece for Unity, with Kervin hauling down 13 rebounds. Joey Bearce had eight rebounds and seven assists.

Kris Douglass led the Golden Eagles of Bangor with 20 points, and Jesse Haskell and Daryl Watson notched 15 points each.

At Machias, Angela Robb hit 4-for-4 from the line in the final 26 seconds to help the University of Maine-Machias pull away from the Braves of Bangor.

Gill Guest had 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Clippers. Sara Ricker scored 15 points, and Kelly Welles added 12.

Brewer’s Liz Boone led Husson with 17 points, and Holly Gracie scored 12.
