ORONO – Three league records fell in the final week of Eastern Maine Indoor Track League competition before the postseason meets begin.

Two female distance runners and a male sprinter rewrote the record books in the mile, 800-meter run, and 400-meter dash during Saturday’s meet at the University of Maine field house.

Brewer senior Heather Clark set a record in the mile with a time of five minutes, 4.66 seconds. Hampden Academy senior Oriana Farley posted a record time of 2:18.33 in the 800. The last mark to fall was in the 400, where Bucksport’s Gunner Siverly finished in 50.98 seconds.

Action switches to postseason mode next week as the UMaine Field House hosts the Penobscot Valley Conference/EMIT conference championships at 4 p.m. Saturday.
