OLD TOWN – Shead’s James Macdonald scored 12 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter to help lead the Shead Tigers to a 54-50 schoolboy basketball win over the Calvary Chapel Sabres Saturday at the Old Town-Orono YMCA.

The Tigers outscored the Sabres 19-6 in the fourth.

Darrin Constant chipped in with 11 points for Shead of Eastport and Jason Bones added 10.

Kyle Bradford led all scorers with 24 points for Calvary Chapel of Orrington. Brock Bradford and Tyler Gans each contributed 10 points.

Adam Standley knocked in both goals for the 12-2 Broncos in the first period. Ian Lee and Standley’s brother Chris combined for assists on Adam Standley’s eventual game-winner.

Shawn Kelly scored a third-period goal for 10-6 Gardiner. Spencer Lahaie made 29 saves on 31 shots.
