THORNDIKE – Brittany Morin and Sarah Roderigue scored 14 points each to pace the Winslow High School Black Raiders to a 52-48 schoolgirl basketball win over Mount View Thursday night.
Stephanie Bossie added 10 points for Winslow.
Ashley Barnard tallied 20 points, including a pair of 3-pointers in the fourth quarter which cut the margin to three points; Amy Miles had 14 points, and Jenna Drummond hauled in 11 rebounds.

At Belfast, the Lions used a mix of sharp perimeter shooting and an effective post game to go on a 25-8 run after facing an early 11-5 deficit.
Ashley Bryant led the charge with 22 points, including four 3-pointers. The Lions finished with eight as a team. Catelyn Ross drained three 3’s and finished with 15 points.
Bonnie Dow knocked down five 3-pointers on her way to a team-high 17 points for the Eagles of South China. Ashley Shanholter chipped in with 10.
