BANGOR – The Mount Desert Island and Foxcroft Academy boys basketball teams will meet tonight at 7 in the Big East Class B championship game at the Bangor Auditorium.

Foxcroft Academy finished in first place in league play while MDI was second.

Cost is $4 for adults and $2 for students.

The Class B girls championship game between regular-season champion MDI and second-place Caribou will not be played.

Caribou is scheduled to host Winslow in an Eastern Maine Class B preliminary game today at 5:30 p.m. and is unavailable to play in the Big East final.

MDI has been declared the Big East Class B girls champion.
