GREENVILLE – The Moosehead Historical Society and Museum will expand its bus excursions this year to accommodate more travelers.

Overnight trips are being considered in addition to day trips.

Ideas for destinations are being solicited by the society. A brochure is being prepared listing the full schedule of trips, in addition to announcing individual excursions as they are scheduled.

The reason for an advance itinerary is to allow people to plan their trips earlier.

“In particular, we want to hear from folks who have traveled with us in the past six years with their ideas of where they would like to go this spring, summer and fall,” said Dr. Everett L. Parker, the museum’s executive director.
