Tiffany Jones

University of Southern Maine freshman Tiffany Jones was named the Little East Conference Rookie of Week for women’s basketball.

Jones netted 40 points in the Huskies’ win against Plymouth State College and had 10 points in USM’s win over Rhode Island College.

J.D. Hadiaris

Colby College goalie J.D. Hadiaris was named the hockey Player of the Week by the New England Small College Athletic Conference.

Hadiaris made 26 saves in Colby’s 4-1 win over Bowdoin College on Tuesday. He also had a 8-0 shutout against Southern Maine on Saturday.

Sarah Walsh

Colby College senior Sarah Walsh was named the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Co-Player of Week.

Walsh averaged 21.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks in Colby’s 1-1 week.
