OLD TOWN – J.T. Breindel converted a conventional three-point play with one second left Tuesday night to give Brewer a 40-39 Class A schoolboy basketball victory over Old Town at MacKenzie Gym.

Breindel rebounded an Andy Frost miss, scored and was fouled. He made the free throw to give the Witches the win.

Breindel netted 15 points for Brewer and Frost had 11. Jon Bell added 10 points.

Matt Petrie scored nine points for Old Town.
