Clinton declared war

The list of doctors and health care providers in the opinion article of Feb. 15-16 was impressive, but I wonder where they were when Bill Clinton was in office, since Sept. 11 and since George W. Bush has been doing a great job as leader of America.

To say the impending war on Iraq “represents a failure to remember the reasons for Sept. 11” is ridiculous, since Saddam Hussein leads in the terrorism area and has been linked to the terrorist regime of Sept. 11. Bush is on target in this war on terrorism, and I challenge these intellectuals to list the ways our fundamental American principles are being subverted.

Perhaps it has to do with facing the fact that many cushy American lifestyles will be subverted, thus displaying selfish principles. We have listened to the Hollywood set as they try to come out from under the play-acting they are used to. Now those upon whom we depend for survival are displaying a blatant lack of support for our president as he makes decisions based upon facts presented to him.

Who or what is subversive? The United Nations has not been doing its job and has been less than honorable in its tactics at times. I wonder why these people did not disapprove of Clinton’s blatant diversion of his immoral practices when he declared war for no reason and sent our men and women overseas?
