John Bapst Players to present ‘Forum’

BANGOR – The time is 200 B.C. The place is a street in Rome. The action is nonstop comedy as The John Bapst Players present Stephen Sondheim’s “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 21-22, at John Bapst Auditorium.

John Bapst students staged the musical once before, in 1998. Richard Fournier, who played Hysterium in the production, is now a history department faculty member at John Bapst.

Lead cast members are Cody Holyoke, Sean Snyder, Nick Borelli, Emily Picard, Lucas Perry, Kristan Stellar, Travis Carey, Ben Barrett and Tyler Yeo. The courtesans are Anna Reichmann, Elien Becque, Cora Hilts, Krystle Melanson, Angela Merrill and Alex Rand.

The Roman Guard are Sam Hill, James Peckham, AJ Stein, Alex Means, Corey Pattison, Chris Leavitt and Kyle Maynard. The Protean Chorus includes Kailey Walsh, Elizabeth Lutz, Catherine Roberts, Michelle Yang, Kelly Kearns, Aimee Bennett, Genna Duplisea, Josh Coffin, Amber Lincoln, Stacey Allen, Kymberly Horth, Doug Bell, Courtney Martin, Kristi Reyes, Brian Rand, Kierstan Knopf, Kyle Lad, Tracy Haskell, Hailey Deans, Mary Donovan, Tedda Yeo, Kaitlyn Benn, Marc Girard, Greg Lamb, Sonya Morse, Meghan Hancock, Brandon Freeman, Rebecca Stevens, Felicia DiSalvatore, Joel Alex, Keith Nason, Matt Rice, Libby Tyler, Megan Webster, Josie, Donaher, Chelsea Atkinson, Katie Morgan, Erica Armstrong, Lily Krichels, Sara Miller, Brittany Martin, Eoin O’Connor, Alison Cheney, Kaitlyn Dyleski, Grant Batcheldor, Sarah Vigneault, Vanessa Vigneault, Kate Mitchell, Chelsea Getchell, Katy Baldus, Megan Lincoln, Stephanie Deschaine, Thomas Carey, Andrew Askins and Molly Lizotte.

Castonguay, Kirk Nichols, Elliot Graebert, Amy MacDonald, Melissa Moreau, Kelsey Lutz, Ellen Juskewitch, Kate Colwell, Matt Bishop, Breanna Bickmore, David Sawyer, Joe Shyka, Elaine Colwell, Kyle Curtis and Meredith Atkinson.

Other students are building sets, operating lights and serving as set crew.
